The drought begins....
The Memphis Tigers basketball drought that is. We had made it to the Elite Eight round on Thursday with a win over Texas A & M. But we lost today to Ohio State, who was the #1 seed in the South bracket (Memphis was #2). Our guys got off to a slow start, but when they finally got their first basket of the game (which it took about 4 1/2 minutes to accomplish) it was pretty much a close game until about the last 8 minutes or so. And so, we have to wait till November when it all starts up again.

I go back for a checkup with my cardiologist on this coming Thursday to let her know how things are going with the Rythmol. Ever since this past Sunday's tachycardia, I have been taking the Synthroid and the Rythmol at the same time, so hopefully I won't have any more "episodes."

My mom called me today and told me that my brother's ex-fiance' Dee Carpenter is going to court on Tuesday. I told to be sure and keep me posted on how things go. I hope she gets locked up for a good long time for everything she's done.

Speaking of my brother, Eric has a new girl in his life who he is happy with. They've been going out as friends for a few months. According to what my mom told me today, it sounds like they're about to move things up to the "dating" level. Stephanie seems to be an honest-to-goodness decent girl. I just want to see Eric happy. He deserves some happiness in his life.
